CLASSIFIED ADVERTISEMENTS
The cost for classified ads is based on the number of lines your ad takes up. It is a flat rate of $3 per line. As a guide, a line holds 43-45 characters + spaces at our font and size. There is a 10% discount for runs of 3 months or more. Payment must precede publication. Copy should be received one month prior to publication date (e.g., by May 1 for a June issue). Make checks payable to the National Speleological Society and send to: Att: NSS News Advertising, 6001 Pulaski Pike NW, Huntsville, AL35810. You can also telephone the office to pay with a credit card. You should e-mail your ad copy to the NSS News Editor and indicate the months you want to run the ad.
PAYMENT TERMS
Prepayment is required for new advertisers. Make checks payable to the National
Speleological Society. Open accounts for recognized advertising agencies and
corporate advertisers is subject to credit approval. Late payments will have
1.5% per month interest added after 30 days
NSS IO AND EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNTS
A 30% discount on ad rates is available to NSS Internal Organizations,
NSS activities, NSS projects, cave conservancies, and educational organizations (Agency commissions do not apply).
