NSS Membership

The National Speleological Society is the largest cave-related organization in the world. The NSS has over 10,000 members- including scientists, conservationists, cave explorers and cave owners through out the United States and abroad. The NSS was founded in 1941 and is headquartered in Huntsville , Alabama , and is affiliated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Union Internationale de Speleologie. The NSS is us...those who work in grottos and projects, who go caving and attend various grotto and regional meeting events and happenings.
