This is a new idea I came up with to "extend" the printed NSS News. Categories of things I expect to appear here will include:The URL for these items will be referenced in the News issue which relates to it. Currently I plan to leave the material here indefinitely.

Includes two articles: Rabies Vaccine Strategies: Concepts of Rabies Prophylaxis for the Caving Community addresses aspects of rabies epidemiology in the United States, with emphasis on issues related to the potential risks of exposure to bat rabies among cavers as well as questions regarding the protective value of pre-exposure rabies vaccination for persons at increased risk of possible exposure. Rabies Serology and the RFFIT: Determination of a Rabies Titer and What it Really Means focuses on the nature of the rabies titer as a measure of protection against development of clinical disease
