Why YOU are important to the NSS

Cavers are part of a diverse group from doctors to mechanics, professors to students; we all gather under a common banner, the National Speleological Society. It is as easy as just being a member and at less than ten cents a day it is inexpensive too. You will be doing a great deal towards helping to maintain the World’s largest cave research library, provide upkeep and insurance for cave preserves and events and, support the leading edge rescue group the NCRC.   Well the list goes on and on with all of our efforts driven in the same direction to study, protect and enjoy caves for generations to come.

Your contribution and adventures are only limited by your imagination and the NSS News is our monthly cave driven publication that keeps you up to date. Daily interaction with cavers from all over the globe is waiting for you at the NSS Webpage and the discussion board.  With all that is happening it is easy to see the only piece of the puzzle we are missing is YOU!

You are invited to join, and it's easy to do online by clicking here or by printing an application (click here if you need Adobe Reader). If you would like to, you can contact the NSS directly at (256) 852-1300 or by emailing nss@caves.org.
