January 2001, Volume 29, Number 1
The FIRST ISSUE of the NEW MILLENIUM!!!!

First, From the Editor:

Wow! It was certainly good to see so many of you while I was in town after Christmas. I heard about a lot of caving! Excellent! Send trip reports!

This is a new venture for me: a once-a-month online newsletter. Should be interesting. I'll also post a printable version, not as robust, but it will have all the essentials.

As usual, the publication (in whatever medium) is in need of material. Please send trip reports, grotto news, and anything else of interest to the membership. One immediate need is events for the Caver Calendar. The best way to send stuff is electronically (see "How to Submit", here). I will scan pictures and make a real effort to return them (but making 2 sets of prints and keeping one is a good idea!).

Usually, things of great importance will show up on the "What's New" page before they show up in the Register.

Welcome, cavers!!!
