NRO Projects

Cherry Valley Project
Members and officers of the NRO are on an ongoing mission to discover/re-discover caves in and around Cherry Valley, New York area, and eventually re-write the 'Caves of Cherry Valley' pamphlet.

NRO Grant Program Established:
At the 9/25/99 Executive Board Meeting discussion took place regarding the establishment of an NRO Grant Program (NRO-GP). Grants would be used towards those things judged by the Board to of overall benefit to the Caving Community as a whole. For example, moneys could be used for such things as; the building and installation of cave gates, dissertation preparation and printing, cave cleanups, research projects, etc. As a result of action at the 1/22/00 Executive Board Meeting the NRO has established a Grants-Program.
