The H's [TOP]
This PowerPoint program by Thom Engel fully documents the history of the exploration of McFails Cave. The hisrtory starts out in 1828 with the first owner, Alfred McFail and finishes with a survey in 2005. Even though McFails Cave is 7.1 miles long, there are still leads left, so the history is not complete. McFails is owned by the National Speleological Society and is the NSS's first preserve, purchased in 1965 |
