COLOR FIGURE PRINT COSTS

In general, the Journal will only print color figures at the expense of the author, unless prior arrangements are made with the editor.  Authors will be invoiced in accordance with the rates listed below following printing of the issue which includes their manuscript. 

UNIT COSTS:

Color figure composition and typesetting cost                 $30 per figure

Color print cost per page of color                                    $55 per page

Example:  For a manuscript that contains 3 color figures with a layout that is arranged to place one figure on one page and two figures on a second page, the total cost to the author for color figures is: (3 figures × $30) + (2 pages × $55) = $200.
