Phosphate Minerals in Low Water Bridge Cave Greene County, Missouri
Max W. Reams

Abstract

Crandallite, hydroxylapatite, and taranakite have been identified in Low Water Bridge Cave, southwestern Missouri. These minerals occur as surficial microcrystalline crusts or interlayered with silty clays, silts, and/or organic layers. This is the first report of phosphate minerals from a cave in Missouri.
