The Science Committee is establishing a fund to support undergraduate and graduate students with small-scale grants for research. These grants are intended to help enhance the quality of cave-related research being conducted in Illinois. Additionally, internship opportunities for graduate or upper level under-graduate students studying Illinois Karst may be available. Information will be posted here on the ISS website in the coming months as these aspects of the ISS is developed. Contact information and to inquire about grant funding should be through the Science Committee. Presently there are other student funding opportunities available via the following Cave Research Foundation National Speleological Society Ralph Stone Fellowship (NSS) Karst Waters Institute
