Illinois Speleological Survey - Shawnee National Forest Shawnee NF Project July 22-23, 2006 The ISS Shawnee Karst Project Weekend for July was held on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd. A total of 15 people showed up to participate in the survey of Equality cave on the 22nd allowing four survey teams to operate in the cave. Only a few people remained on Sunday, the 23rd and the decision was made to go to a local swimming hole to relax.. Next project weekend is scheduled for September 23rd in the Eastern Shawnee, returning to Equality Cave.
