January 29, 2005

Volunteers:

Gary Resch (MO/IL)
Jim Sherrell (IL)
Laura Lexander (IL)
Fred Schumann (IL)
Kim Chiles (MO)
Cindy Sankowski (IL)
Alan Sankowski (IL)
Ted Mueller (IL)
Frank Wilhelm (IL)
Jack Wood (IL)

We broke up into two teams, one group ridge walked an area near a known cave documenting the entrances to the cave and spotting several features that are unknown to the ISS.  The other team went to go check out an area that has a sinkhole marked on the map.  An adjacent sink was found next to the one marked on the map.  The second sink had a drain at the bottom that was entered by Fred Schumann.  He reported that the drain was about 1.5’ high and about 2’ wide but went a good distance, further then he went.  This location will be followed up on a map trip if warranted.
