| Straw Hat This is the convention hat/helmet was from the chair of the 1998 NSS Convention in Suwannee, Tennessee to the chair of the following year's NSS Convention in Idaho. It is unknown what year this tradition began. Hats/ helmets are decorated in a manor that reflects the state or region it is being held in. Often these helmets are gaudy and humerous |
