➢ Chairperson – Charlotte Alavi – cga0010@mix.wvu.edu
○ We are a chapter of the NSS, we started in 1977. We project and recreationally cave. Always respect
each other, the cave, and the land when on trips. Beginner’s weekend trip planned this weekend
with the Mon Grotto to New Trout and Hamilton and we will be staying in cabins for 1 night (Friday),
cots provided but bring sleeping bag/pad.

○ Tomorrow 5pm to 9pm is vertical practice at the rock wall at the rec center. Student org fair next
week at rec center. Come talk to me for membership forms.

○ Total: $1748.79. Spent less than $20 for labels for ropes. Bought some canvas for banner painting to
hang in the Mountainlair. If you have not paid dues since last Spring, you need to renew your
membership (ahem, Connor Smith).

○ We are going to try to use Discord to have ease of link sharing as opposed to GroupMe. Please
change your Discord nickname to your real name for ease of communication when you join. QR will
be posted on presentation. More trip reports pls!

● Zee went with Shawn Hogbin on a survey trip and got attacked by a raccoon.
● Josi, Tom, and Michael went to [REDACTED] and had fun.
● Maxwell, Jordan, and Connor Wickline shared drinks with a bunch of COVID-positive people.
● Charlotte got intoxicated with a camel.
● Jake Lee went to Niagara Falls and does not recommend going.
