Meeting Minutes 4/25/2012

Meeting called to order by Chairman Jeremy Browning at 8:02pm

Treasurers Report: 

- Same as last week but the caver bill will be deducted after Brady receives it.

Vertical Practice:

-There was no vertical practice this week.

Old Business:

- Terra Incognito was given to Dave Riggs to finish.

- Jeremy will be ordering bumper stickers with the logo. Let him know if you would like one. They're about $1 a piece but the durability is unknown.

- Elections were held and new officers are as follows

Chairman: Andrew

Vice Chairman: Ginny

Treasurer: Brady

Secretary: Julia

New Business:

- UConn cavers are coming down and are looking for trip leaders. Jeremy is planning a trip to Germany Valley during June 8th or 9th.

- Doug at Karst Sports was paid for the year on the same day as the receipt was turned in for the SGA grant.

- IF ANYONE HAS ANY GROTTO GEAR MAKE SURE IT GETS BACK TO JOHN TUDEK OR SOMEONE ELSE IN THE GROTTO

Trip Reports:

Jeremy, Andrew and Brady went down to Randolph County for a caving trip. On Friday they went down and stayed at Jeremy's place were they camped out and had a bonfire. On Saturday they went to Sinks of Gandy and Stillhouse. They first went into Stillhouse and was unable to find the second entrance after walking around lost for a while. They then went to Sinks of Gandy. They later went Abbis Hunting and succeeded. On Sunday they looked for Shreeve Howl Pit but was unsuccessful after several hours of searching. 

Important Dates:

- June 26: Student Reception

- July 31: TRA applications due

- August 30 - September 1: OTR
