Meeting Minutes 13 April 2011

Meeting called to order by Chairman John Tudek at 8:05

Treasurer's Report: Assumed to be the same as last week.

Vertical Practice: Andrew, Adi, and Jeremy held practice at the wall.

Old Business:

• SGA Grant DONE!!!! YAAY!!!
• Library books, only few books left out.
• Articles: Only a few still needed, you know who you are.
• Equipment: All seems to be accounted for. ~3 lights need to be sent off for repair.
  

New Business:

• The grotto will purchase 6 locking carabiners and 2 mallions for the vertical gear.
• Pathfinders will be giving members a 10% discount on at least some gear.
• Elections Changes:
  Newly elected officials will be in office until the second week of spring semester.
  Officials Elected at the Spring 2012 election will be in office for one full year
  This was passed unanimously by a quorum of members.
• John Harman showed a historical video of Schoolhouse Cave from Pittsburgh Explorer's Club.

Upcoming Trips:

• Bat Ranch April 23-24, possible Newberry-Baines trip or some horizontal caves.
• Spring VAR in Durbin, WV April 29-May 1.
• Spring MAR in central PA.
• Grotto Camping Trip: Possible grotto 'Formal' trip May 7-8.
• Last meeting will be held at Black Bear April 27.
