Resurvey of Maiden's Run:
Date: Sept. 28 
Meeting: 2:00 PM at the Rec Center by the big screen TV.

Vertical Practice at Cheat View:
Next Thursday. We'll probably head out of town around four. So far 
Kyle, Abby, Gayle, and Thad have shown an interest in going. 

Windyslope:
Date: Wed Oct. 8
Time: 6:00 PM

Greenbrier Valley trip:
Date: Oct 25-26
Cave: Friar's Hole
We'll probably end up camping at a sight right by a few of the 
entrances. 

Bear Cave:
Date: Oct 12

Vertical Rodeo -
has been set in motion and will take place sometime in the next few 
weeks. Rich F. will keep in touch and let the Grotto know when a date 
has been set.

Trip Reports:

Last Saturday, Brian M, Jon H, and Abby H went down to Tucker County 
Survey. They surveyed a 60' passage in Mill Run. Brian got some 
entrance photos, including Morris, Red Run, Sucked In #1, 2, and 3. 
Then they stopped by Big(Balls) Deep River to survey about a 100' of 
passage. On Sunday, they hiked up Otter Creek with Doug B and Jesse 
to find Confluence Cave, Coal Run Cave, and what might or might not 
have been Hydroponics. 

Kyle M. along with some folks from VAR got to bounce Grapevine Pit at 
Lost Worlds Caverns last Saturday.

Dave R. called in from Portland to give a trip report on an NCRC 
Rescue Training Course he tool last weekend and to tell the Grotto 
all about caving in lava tubes, such as Dynamite Cave.
