The Pecos Valley Grotto was established as a local chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS)
...to promote interest in and to advance in any and all ways the study and science of Speleology, to promote the protection of caves and their natural contents, and to promote fellowship among those interested therein.


The Pecos Valley Grotto meets the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at National Cave and Karst Research Institute 400-1 Cascades Ave, Carlsbad, NM 88220.
The meetings consists of cave related business, trip reports, trip planning, and an educational program. All are welcome to attend.
