1st Annual Grotto Fun and Gun
March 15 & 16 at Sleepy Creek, WV

OIL UP YER GUNS, DUST OFF THE CAVE GEAR AND PILE INTO THE PICKUP, AND HEAD TO WV, FOR A GOOD OLE' TIME!!

Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area is just a short hop, 2 to 2 1/2 hours away from Baltimore, near Silers Cave. Come on down on Friday night and camp on Sleepy Creek Lake. On Saturday morning we'll head into Silers Cave for some muddy fun. In the afternoon we'll head up to Fabulous Sleepy Creek Range, just 15 minutes from our lakeside campsite.

We'll have a trap thrower to shoot clay pigeons. Bring your own weapons. Using other people's weapons is up to their discretion and please remember that ammo is expensive. You are welcome to try mine and possibly others. People with little or no firearms experience will need safety instructions which can be provided before we allow them on the range. Please bring interesting and funny targets as long as you remove their remains from the range.

Sleepy Creek has a spring that has been running every time that I have been there although it has not been tested so bring your own drinking water. Sleepy Creek also has outhouse facilities and I believe camping is 5-6 bucks per night per site. If you don't want to shoot or cave, do whichever you please. Just relax by the lake for all I care. As usual we will have fun round the campfire on Saturday night, so come on down!
